The New York Holstein Association will be adhering to the most up-to-date restrictions and guidelines issued by the NYS Health Department with respect to the COVID-19 pandemic during the New York Spring Dairy Carousel Show in Hamburg NY.
Health Screening and Waiver
Please read the health screening and waiver BEFORE arriving to the fairgrounds. All will screened at the entrance of the fairgrounds and you will not be allowed into the grounds until a health screening has been completed. You can print and complete the health screening prior to arrival to the grounds for quicker entry. Upon passing of the health screening you will be provided a wristband. Wristbands must be warn at all times.
Health and Safety Protocols
The New York State Holstein Association will enforce the following Health and Safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for all on the grounds. The following protocols will be in place at the time of the show:
a. Have you experienced any of the following symptoms in the past 14 days:
• fever or chills
• cough
• shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• fatigue
• muscle or body aches
• headache
• new loss of taste or smell
• sore throat
• congestion or runny nose
• nausea or vomiting
• diarrhea
b. Within the past 14 days, have you been in close physical contact (6 feet or closer for a cumulative total of 15 minutes) with:
• Anyone who is known to have laboratory-confirmed COVID-19?
OR
• Anyone who has any symptoms consistent with COVID-19?
c. Are you isolating or quarantining because you may have been exposed to a person with COVID-19 or are worried that you may be sick with COVID-19?
d. Are you currently waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test?
- All exhibits must be 10 feet apart from one another
- Individuals must adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times (this includes in the show ring). It is expected that individuals will wear a face covering at all times.
- There will be wash stations and sanitizer available throughout the grounds to use.
- All exhibitors will follow one-way walking paths in and out of buildings
- Health screening will be required by all at the entrance of the fairgrounds.
